The Hampshire Companies Sells 20,000-Square-Foot Retail Supermarket Building in Brandon, Vermont

The Hampshire Companies, a full-service, private real estate investment firm with equity in assets valued at over $2.5 billion, has announced the sale of a 20,000-square-foot retail building located on Union Street in Brandon, Vt. to Hannaford Supermarkets.

Based in Scarborough, Maine, Hannaford Supermarkets operates over 180 stores and employs more than 27,000 associates in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont. Situated on approximately 10 acres, its new location in Brandon, Vt. will further enable the company to provide consumers with good prices and value; top-quality fresh foods supported by daily deliveries; and friendly, efficient service. Hannaford is a Delhaize America company, and is owned by Belgian based Delhaize Group, one of the world's largest food retailers.
